Despite bringing a refreshing heat to the city, El Escapar had a couple of issues holding them back from furthering the buzzing business.
Firstly, the double yellow lines outside their premises. Because of the lack of parking, Jamie was being increasingly asked if he took telephone orders, which he didn’t. There was no way Jamie was logistically able to answer calls, prepare, cook, and pack orders without sprouting multiple limbs and evolving into some sort of super-human. Without Click-and-Collect as an option, Jamie found he was losing a lot of orders.
The second problem was their lack of online presence to facilitate their menu and to showcase their upcoming pop-up events.
